Public shows on Stripchat are free, but if you want a model’s full attention, you will need one of the paid show types. The three most personal ones are the Private show, the Exclusive Private show and Spy mode. They work differently and cost different amounts, so it helps to know which is which before you spend tokens.
All prices below are in tokens, as set by Stripchat. What a token costs you depends on your country, payment method and package size.

Each model sets her own prices within these ranges, and some models do not offer every show type.
Private show
A Private show is a one-on-one session with a model. According to Stripchat, the price ranges from 8 to 150 tokens per minute, depending on the model. You can filter the Private shows category by price to find one that fits your budget.
- You need enough tokens for the minimum duration before you can start. Some models set a minimum length, shown when you click Start Private.
- Requests go through the Private menu. During the show, click the joystick icon at the bottom of the chat to see the activities the model offers, then choose one.
- Spies may be watching. If the model allows Spy mode, other users can watch your show. Only you can talk to the model.
- It ends when either of you stops it, or automatically when your tokens run out.
Exclusive Private show
An Exclusive Private is also one-on-one, with two differences: no one can spy on it, and some models offer extra activities only in this show type. It also includes an optional Cam2Cam mode, which turns on your webcam and microphone so the model can see and hear you.
Stripchat’s Help Center lists Exclusive Privates at 8–150 tokens per minute, while its Cam2Cam article gives a range of 8–250. Either way, this is usually the most expensive way to watch, so check the per-minute price and any minimum duration before you start. A 250-token-per-minute show with a 10-minute minimum, for example, costs at least 2,500 tokens.
Spy mode
Spy mode lets you watch someone else’s Private show without taking part. You can find shows to spy on in the Spy on Shows section; a room that allows spying shows an eye icon on its thumbnail.
- The first 15 seconds are free, once per show, for users who have tokens.
- After that it costs 4–60 tokens per minute, set by the model.
- The model can see you after 15 seconds. Once you keep spying past the free preview, the model knows you are there.
- You can only watch. Spies cannot chat, and if you send the model a private message while spying, your identity is no longer hidden.
Some Fan Club tiers include free spying on that model’s Private shows, if the model allows spying at all.
Group and Ticket shows: the cheaper alternatives
If a Private is more than you want to spend, look for these:
- Group show: a pay-per-minute show shared by many viewers, so the price is usually lower than a Private. You can reserve a spot for free when a model announces one, and you only start paying when the show begins. Viewers can come and go at any time, and there is no limit on how many can join.
- Ticket show: a Group show with a single fixed price, anywhere from 8 to 1,000 tokens. Buy your ticket when the model announces the show, or join with “Join Now” if it has already started.
A note on Japanese models
If you mainly watch Japanese models, expect Ticket and Group shows to be more common than Privates. From what we have seen, Private shows are less popular with Japanese models, and many of those who do offer them switch Spy mode off. How to start a Private show
- Sign up for a free account and buy tokens. You need enough to cover the model’s minimum duration.
- Say hello first. Jumping straight to a Private request can come across as abrupt. A friendly message in the public chat, or a private message if you can send one, goes a long way.
- Click the Private button under the broadcast. It shows the model’s price per minute.
- Check the details in the window that opens: price per minute, any minimum duration, the activities offered, and whether you can save a recording.
- Confirm to send the request. The show begins when the model accepts. She can also decline.
- End the show with the end button when you are done.
Who can send private messages: Stripchat says only Ultimate members and a model’s Friends can message models privately, and Fan Club membership also includes private messaging with that model.
Rules that affect your wallet
- Minimum duration: if you leave a show before the minimum time, you are still charged for the full minimum. If the model ends it early, you only pay for the minutes that actually ran.
- Leave and rate if it goes wrong: Stripchat cannot give a full refund for a Private or Exclusive Private that lasted more than 5 minutes. If you are unhappy, leave right away, give a low rating and explain why. Complaints must arrive within 48 hours.
- Agree before you start: make sure you and the model agree on what the show includes, or request activities through the Private menu. Models can decline requests outside what they offer.
- Spying is not refundable, and neither are tips.
- Technical problems on your side are not refunded, so check your connection first. Stripchat recommends at least 4 Mbps download and upload speed.
Can you record a Private show?
Only if the model has enabled recording. If she has, you will see “You can save this show” when you click Start Private. After the show, you can save it to My Collection and rewatch it there. Recordings cannot be downloaded to your device, and they are for personal viewing only: sharing them elsewhere is against Stripchat’s rules. Recordings you have bought stay in your collection even if the model later deletes her account.

How much is a Private show on Stripchat?
Between 8 and 150 tokens per minute, depending on the model. The cost in your own currency depends on the token package and payment method you use.
Can other people watch my Private show?
In a regular Private, yes, if the model allows Spy mode. Spies can watch but cannot chat. If you want no spies at all, choose an Exclusive Private.
Does the model know I am spying?
Not during the free 15-second preview. If you keep watching after that, the model can see that you are spying.
Can I stop a Private show at any time?
Yes, but if the model set a minimum duration, you pay for the full minimum even if you leave early.
Do I need an account?
