Found a charge on your card from a name you don’t recognize, like EPOCH.COM*Technius or Paymentico.com? If you have used Stripchat, that is very likely where it came from. Stripchat does not put its own name on bank or card statements. Instead, your purchase shows up under the name of the company that processed the payment.
This guide lists every name Stripchat says you may see, who to contact about each one, and what to do if you still can’t place a charge.
The short answer
- “Stripchat” will not appear on your statement. According to Stripchat’s Help Center, purchases appear under a payment processor’s name to protect your privacy.
- The names to look for are EPOCH.COM*Technius, SegpayEU.com-TechChat, Paymentico.com, centrobill.com and Technius Ltd.
- Dates may not match. Some banks post the charge 1–3 working days after you bought the tokens.
- Check before you dispute. Look at your Stripchat Token History first. Reporting a genuine purchase as fraud breaks Stripchat’s terms.
What a Stripchat charge looks like on your statement
Stripchat’s Help Center lists the following names. Which one you see depends on the payment provider that handled your purchase.
| Name on your statement | Payment company | Billing support |
|---|---|---|
| EPOCH.COM*Technius | Epoch | epoch.com/billing_support [email protected] +1 800 893 8871 (toll-free) +1 310 664 5810 (worldwide) |
| SegpayEU.com-TechChat | Segpay | cs.segpay.com [email protected] +1 954 414 1610 / 1 888 376 0948 |
| Paymentico.com | Paymentico | help.paymentico.com [email protected] 1 855 877 7020 (US/Canada, toll-free) +44 1344 586020 (UK/international) |
| centrobill.com | CentroBill | Contact Stripchat Support |
| Technius Ltd | Technius Ltd | Contact Stripchat Support |
If you paid by instant bank transfer (Sofort, iDeal, Giropay or SEPA), Stripchat says the beneficiary on your statement will be Technius Ltd / Curo Payments.
Contact details are taken from Stripchat’s Help Center as of October 2026. Payment companies can change, so if a name on your statement is not listed here, check Stripchat’s billing support page before assuming the charge is fraudulent.
Why Stripchat uses other names
There are two reasons.
- Privacy. Stripchat states that purchases appear under another name to protect its customers’ privacy. Someone glancing at your statement sees a payment company, not an adult site.
- Third-party processing. Stripchat’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy say card payments are handled by third-party processors using industry-standard encryption, and that your financial details are only used to complete your orders. The processor’s name is what your bank records.
This is standard for adult sites. Specialist payment companies handle the card processing, and their name, not the site’s, goes on your statement. For a wider look at payments, data and scams, see Is Stripchat safe?
About Epoch and Paymentico
These are the two names most people ask about.
Epoch
Epoch is a long-established payment processor for online entertainment sites, founded in 1996 and based in Guernsey, with payments processed by Epoch Europe Ltd. It works with Visa and Mastercard, follows PCI DSS (the card industry’s security standard) and runs round-the-clock customer support. It has been used by many live-cam and adult sites for years.
Paymentico
Stripchat describes Paymentico as a company that provides credit and debit card processing for live entertainment websites. It is based in Cyprus. It publishes less information about itself than Epoch does, and online reviews are mixed. In our own use, purchases through Paymentico have gone through without problems. Depending on your payment method, for example some prepaid cards, Paymentico may be the only option offered.
Why you might see more than one charge
One token purchase usually means one charge. If you see several, one of these is the most likely reason:
- Auto-Refill. If switched on, Stripchat automatically buys your last token package again when your balance runs low, using your saved payment details. With cards and PayPal this can happen up to 4 times in 24 hours. You can turn it off under Settings and Privacy → Balance Auto-Refill.
- Quick top-ups. Refilling your balance during a private show, or with the one-click low-balance refill, creates a separate one-time charge each time.
- Ultimate membership. This is a recurring subscription. Cancel it under My Profile → My Subscriptions → Ultimate membership → Cancel Membership.
- Fan Clubs. Fan Club subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them. Manage them from the drop-down menu under My Subscriptions.
- A failed purchase. If a purchase failed, your bank may still show a temporary hold. Stripchat says these holds can take up to 5 business days to be released.
Don’t recognize a charge? What to do
- Check your Token History on Stripchat. Match the amount and date, allowing for the 1–3 day posting delay.
- Check Auto-Refill and your subscriptions. If you see repeat charges, check these first.
- Ask anyone else who uses your card. Someone in your household may have made the purchase.
- Contact Stripchat Support. Use the Contact Support button in the Help Center and include the purchase date and time, the amount, and a receipt if you have one.
- Or contact the payment company directly using the details in the table above.
- Only then contact your bank, if the charge really was not made by you or anyone you know.
A word of warning about disputes. Stripchat’s Terms of Use ask users not to report a payment as fraudulent, lost or stolen, or a charge as unauthorized, without a genuine reason to believe it is. If Stripchat ends your account for breaking its terms, any unused tokens are lost and not refunded. If you simply regret a purchase, use the refund route below instead.
Can you get a refund?
According to Stripchat’s Help Center, you can request a refund for a token purchase only if all of these apply:
- It is your most recent token package.
- It was bought within the last 30 days.
- None of the tokens from that purchase have been used.
- It was paid for by card or PayPal.
Requests go through Customer Support and are reviewed one by one. Tips are treated as gifts and cannot be reversed, and spying on private shows is not covered.
Other ways to pay
Cards are not the only option. Depending on your country, Stripchat also accepts PayPal, paysafecard, gift cards, mobile billing, Sofort and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ether. You can see what is available to you by clicking the green + button next to your balance after logging in.
FAQ
What is EPOCH.COM*Technius on my credit card?

Why does Paymentico appear on my bank statement?
Paymentico processes card payments for live entertainment sites, including Stripchat. Stripchat says your transaction may appear under Paymentico’s name to protect your privacy. Paymentico’s support is at help.paymentico.com.
Will the word “Stripchat” ever appear on my statement?
Not according to Stripchat’s Help Center. The names it lists are all payment companies or Technius Ltd, none of which include the word “Stripchat”.
Why is the date on my statement different from my purchase date?
